With her first kindle release, Theresa Butler has managed to craft a compelling, beautiful story that truly feels as if it takes place in another world, at the same time familiar and foreign to our own. Her palette of characters is varied and colorful, and the tension between them is carried thorough the entire book, and I myself have had a hard time putting it down, both the first and second times I have read it. It's a book to fall into - and in love with. It's not as blatantly erotic as some books with sex tend to be, Butler clearly has an almost Austinesque understanding of the importance of tension and expectation in stories involving romantic relationships. I hated the characters I was supposed to hate, loved the characters I was supposed to love, and sometimes the lines were blurred between the two. All in all, a great story for those who enjoy a little eroticism but want something to make them think. Butler has truly set the bar high for herself, and I look forward to more releases to come.Product details

I read it when she was publishing chapters weekly on Tumblr. This version has been edited and it's so great to be able to read it all at once!
I love the character development, the drama, the oh-so-delicious sex scenes, and the writing style.
I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a steamy romance.
PS the main character is based off of a certain actor with the initials TH. (;
A story about the masks we all wear publicly and privately and the mind games if forces us to play. How much do we really know about another person and their feelings towards us? Can you trust someone who makes a career out of their ability to wear those masks? Especially when the choices they lead you to have such far-reaching consequences for your future, and theirs. But when you've got red hot chemistry like this, it's hard to keep your head. A well-written book, with enchanting yet realistic characters that have you rooting for, or against, them the whole way. I highly recommend it and will be keeping a close eye out for anything new from this skillful author.
You make him yours of course. And Emilia does just that. An excellent book that makes you beg for more and let's you get lost in a non traditional love story.
I was n t quite sure what to expect because I know this author in person. I was pleasantly surprised and so glad I got to read it. I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves the vagaries of love. Oh and fashion.
I missed getting to read this when it was originally published by a day. I found it late at night and read the first chapter, then the next day when I went for chapter two it was no where to be found. I followed this book to publication and then as soon as I saw it was for sale I bought it. I was not disappointed. This story is sweet and well told with interesting characters and a fun plot. It was worth the wait to get to read it properly and I am ecstatic to hear there may be a sequel.
Buy this book and curl up with it. It goes best with creamy coffee and a fuzzy blanket.
This book feels refreshing. The author really did a good job at getting her story together and settling it on the page with words from both main characters. It gives an erotic tingle (sorry for the ironic wording) while also having a strong grip on a plot line related to love, the celebrity sphere, and difficult character flaws as if the author had lived them herself. This let me enjoy the more complex story beyond the lust and waiting for the next session between the leads. It allows for getting intimate with the characters beyond the bedroom, attaching to the characters personalities, and in seeing the duality of many who star in this lovely first published novel.
